Janelle specialises in strategic work with clients. She provides project management, content expertise and quality assurance.

Janelle trained as a teacher and has held management positions in secondary schools in New Zealand and the Cook Islands. She has had senior positions as a review officer at the Education Review Office and as a curriculum facilitator at the Ministry of Education. While at the Ministry, Janelle had responsibility for social studies, Pasifika education and aspects of health and physical education.

Janelle became an education consultant in 1999. Her consultancy work has since included support for the Ministry of Education’s Maori Medium Team. It has also led her offshore for education projects in Australia, Fiji, Cook Islands, Vanuatu, the Republic of Maldives, Vietnam and Cambodia.
