Roly joined Educating NZ in 2005. He specialises in coordinating projects, delivering training and developing resources and business processes.

Roly has a background in the New Zealand Police. He worked as a police education officer for fourteen years, during which he had extensive experience in the classroom at all levels.

Since leaving the Police, Roly has worked as a senior consultant in the business sector, his roles including project management and instructional design. Roly has written books, articles and learning resources, and has experience in website design.
