Project update:
2007
Educating NZ designed a web-based resource for principals to assist them to make their school communities and curriculum more Asia aware. (Although web-based, the resource material is suitable for, or adaptable to, a printed format.) The resource includes four case studies that showcase three NZ schools and their contribution to an Asia-aware school culture.
The resource is intended to:
- inform principals about how and why Asia is important to New Zealand and their students
- define what it means to be an Asia-aware school
- provide tools, resources and/or case studies to assist principals in bringing Asia awareness into their schools.
