Objectives:
Educating NZ is working with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise on a pilot project with a cluster of Wellington primary and secondary schools. The project has the following goals:
- For schools to identify a project and use an action research model to reflect on the process they have undertaken.
- For students to develop enterprising attributes within a variety of authentic contexts.
- For teachers to trial an approach using the NZ curriculum to guide their process.
- For local businesses and other community enterprises to share their knowledge and skills with students and teachers.
- For local businesses to build their knowledge of the curriculum through their involvement with local schools.

Project update:
2008
E4E project leaders in each of the cluster schools recently participated in a two day New Zealand Trade and Enterprise workshop focusing on the future direction and policy of E4E. Presenters included the MOE, Secondary Futures and NZCER. Teachers enjoyed the opportunity to hear about a number of other E4E initiatives and network with other schools involved in enterprise education.
