Objectives:

Educating NZ is working with New Zealand Trade and Enterprise on a pilot project with a cluster of Wellington primary and secondary schools. The project has the following goals:

  • For schools to identify a project and use an action research model to reflect on the process they have undertaken.
  • For students to develop enterprising attributes within a variety of authentic contexts.
  • For teachers to trial an approach using the NZ curriculum to guide their process.
  • For local businesses and other community enterprises to share their knowledge and skills with students and teachers.
  • For local businesses to build their knowledge of the curriculum through their involvement with local schools.
